Professional eLearning Voice Over by Dean T. Moody
eLearning, defined as learning using online digital resources, is an amazing modern convenience. As a former 4th grade teacher, I definitely get the appeal of not having to be in a smelly old classroom, listening to a smelly old teacher droning on and on about whatever topic you’ve signed up for–it’s so much nicer to take a class from the comfort of your own home. So what are some of the advantages of eLearning?
Cost Advantage with eLearning
I appreciate how many companies are finding lots of financial advantage to using eLearning as a way to train their employees. Likewise, employees are more engaged when they are able to do online training, made to enhance their knowledge, skills, and abilities, at their own pace. Companies are also able to train their partner companies, and even their clientele, at an affordable rate, benefiting everybody by saving time and money across the board.
Time Advantage with eLearning
When trainees do not need to travel for their training, and can take a course or module from the comfort of their own workstations, a coffee shop, or even from their living room, that precious resource called Time is saved. When Time is saved, Productivity goes up!

Waste reduction with eLearning
ELearning is much more environmentally friendly than loads of paper tests! The designing of Elearning modules is getting more and more user friendly as more companies are turning to it, and the technology is becoming much more available and affordable. Nevertheless, the field is growing at a tremendous pace. In fact, there are those Instructional Designers who are actively using gamification (making online instruction more game-like in its structure) to make eLearning that much more appealing, especially to young people. I was able to use several of these kinds of programs as a teacher, and the engagement level can go through the roof at times! Kids who are having fun often don’t even realize they’re learning.
Connecting Employees with Crucial Information
Nowadays, many companies use Elearning to increase compliance with safety regulations. As a teacher, I watched many eLearning modules having to do with reporting possible abuse of the students in my charge, as part of my annual teacher training. More recently, I was hired to record an eLearning module that was a series of safety training videos for engineers and mechanics working on large wind turbine
